1. Who is responsible
Buzzpocketzyppy Media Ltd, company number 16942837, operates buzzpocketzyppy.com and acts as controller for personal information processed for this website and our correspondence. Our registered address is 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. Contact our privacy lead at [email protected]. This address also receives DPO-related enquiries; we do not represent that a statutory Data Protection Officer has been appointed.
2. Information we collect
You can read the guides without creating an account. Ordinary website delivery may generate infrastructure logs containing your IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and response status. These records support security, troubleshooting and reliable delivery, rather than advertising profiles.
The contact form validates information locally in your browser. It prepares a link that opens your email application; it does not submit a message to a website server. We receive your name, email address, subject, message and ordinary email metadata only if you send that email. Your email provider may process the draft under its own terms. Do not include passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.
3. Purposes and lawful bases
We use correspondence to answer enquiries, investigate corrections and maintain relevant business records. Where applicable, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with readers and operating a secure editorial service, or taking steps at your request before a contract. Legal obligations may require particular records to be retained. Optional storage or tracking, if introduced, will require appropriate consent before activation where the law requires it.
4. Cookies and browser storage
This website uses first-party local storage to remember your cookie preferences for up to 180 days. Local storage is not transmitted automatically with page requests. No analytics, advertising pixels, external fonts or embedded maps are included in the current site. The analytics and functional categories shown in preferences are not currently deployed. Accepting them does not load any additional service. See the cookie policy for the storage inventory and controls.
5. Processors and international transfers
Infrastructure hosting and business email providers may process the limited information necessary to deliver pages or handle correspondence on our behalf. We do not send contact messages to AI model providers through this site. External product links are ordinary links, not embedded integrations; the destination operator becomes responsible for information you provide there.
Where a service provider processes information outside the UK or EEA, applicable transfer requirements must be met, including an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards where necessary. You may request information about relevant processors and safeguards using our privacy contact. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Retention and security
Our retention targets are up to 30 days for routine access logs and up to 12 months after an enquiry is resolved for ordinary correspondence. Records needed for a legal dispute, security investigation or statutory obligation may be kept longer for that specific purpose. Preference records expire after 180 days and can be removed sooner through your browser. We use proportionate access controls and minimise retained information; no internet transmission or storage method is risk-free.
7. Your rights and complaints
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw optional consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal. Under GDPR or UK GDPR, requests are generally answered within one month, subject to lawful extensions.
Where the CCPA/CPRA applies, eligible California residents may request to know, correct or delete personal information, and exercise applicable sale or sharing opt-out rights without discrimination. We do not sell or share data in that sense, and there is no advertising tracking to disable. Applicable California requests generally receive a response within 45 days, subject to permitted extensions. We may reasonably verify identity or an authorised agent's authority.
Contact our privacy lead first so we can help. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local supervisory authority. This site is intended for business readers, not children, and we do not knowingly seek children's personal information.
8. Changes to this notice
We will update the effective date when this policy changes. Material changes to optional tracking will be described before activation and, where required, presented for a new consent choice. Revisiting this page lets you review the current handling of website information.
