1. What this policy covers
This policy explains cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used on buzzpocketzyppy.com, operated by Buzzpocketzyppy Media Ltd. A cookie is a small value stored by your browser that can be sent with later requests to a website. Local storage also saves information in your browser, but it is not automatically included in every network request. Both can fall within rules governing storage on, or access to, your device.
The current website does not set HTTP cookies through its application code. It uses one first-party local-storage record to remember your privacy choice. We do not load advertising trackers, analytics libraries, social widgets or third-party map embeds. Our illustrations and map schematic are local markup and CSS.
2. Storage inventory
| Category | Name / technology | Purpose and provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | bpz_cookie_consent_v1Local storage | Remembers selected categories, policy version and choice date. First party: buzzpocketzyppy.com. | Up to 180 days; removed or replaced on the next visit after expiry. |
| Analytics | None currently set | No audience measurement provider or analytics identifiers are deployed. | Not applicable |
| Functional | None currently set | No optional personalisation, embedded media or additional preference storage is deployed. | Not applicable |
The essential record contains category choices and a timestamp, not your name, email address or browsing history. It is written after you select an option. Its purpose is to honour that choice and avoid asking on every page. Menu state and contact-form drafts are not persisted by our site.
3. What the banner buttons do
Accept All records a positive preference for the displayed optional categories. Reject Non-Essential records those categories as off. Preferences lets you choose analytics and functional categories separately, while explaining that no services currently use them. All three routes leave the guides available and do not alter access to content.
Because optional technologies are not deployed, accepting does not trigger additional downloads, measurement or personalisation. A future material change to providers or purposes would require an updated inventory and a renewed choice where consent is required. Your current selection is not permission for unrelated future tracking.
4. Changing or withdrawing a choice
Use “Cookie preferences” in any footer, or the button on this page, to revisit your selection. Saving new preferences takes effect immediately. Closing the preferences window without saving does not change an existing choice. If you have not chosen yet, optional categories remain off.
The choice is specific to this browser and website origin; it does not synchronise between devices. After 180 days, or after site data is cleared, the banner will appear again. Private-browsing sessions may discard storage when closed. If your browser blocks local storage, the site still works, but your choice may not survive navigation or reload.
5. Browser opt-out instructions
You can also remove or block website storage in your browser. Menu labels change between versions, but these paths are useful starting points:
- Chrome: open Settings, Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Site settings. Find the option to view site data and delete data for this domain.
- Edge: open Settings, Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies and site data. Search for this website and remove its stored data.
- Firefox: open Settings, Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data. Use Manage Data to remove this site's entries.
- Safari on macOS: open Settings, Privacy, then Manage Website Data. On iPhone or iPad, use Settings, Apps, Safari, Advanced, Website Data; paths vary by operating-system version.
Blocking only third-party cookies may not remove first-party local storage. Use the browser's site-data controls when you want to reset our saved choice. Deleting all browser data can also sign you out of unrelated websites. Global Privacy Control does not change our behaviour because we do not sell, share for behavioural advertising or deploy optional trackers.
6. Questions and updates
For questions, contact [email protected] or write to 86–90 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. Our privacy policy explains broader data handling and legal rights. We will revise this page and its effective date when the site's storage practices change.
